Elysian Senior Homes, LLC (Elysian) was formed on October 29, 2018, and is a senior living management company based in Minnesota. The company was formed by Gerald T. Jokerst, Jr. (Ted) and Devin Doyle as this was a good fit with their capital management portfolio. Managed Communities – Assisted Living and Dementia Care
Elysian Senior Homes, LLC is a licensed assisted living services with dementia care provider, and all assisted living and dementia care communities provide full-service home care, three meals per day and snacks, lifestyle enrichment activities, and housekeeping and maintenance. There are currently over 100 employees that are full-time, part-time, and on call casual that work in the assisted living and dementia care communities.
Elysian transitioned management for its first senior community on April 18, 2019. This community was known as The Bluffs of Lake City but was re-branded to Elysian Senior Homes of Lake City in 2020 and is located at 480 West Grant Street, Lake City, MN, 55041 – the building opened in September of 2015. The three-story community is comprised of 67 units, 24 of these units are in a secure unit that provides dementia and end of life care, and 43 units are designated for assisted living with some independent living units.
On December 14, 2020, Elysian Senior Homes of Duluth admitted its first resident. This was the first community that Elysian Senior Homes worked to develop from the ground up and the official groundbreaking was on January 21, 2020. The single-story community is located at 110 Coffee Creek Blvd, Duluth, MN, 55811 and it is comprised of 36 units, 16 of these units are in a secure unit that provide dementia care and 20 units are assisted living.
On February 22, 2021, Elysian Senior Homes of Chanhassen was acquired. This is a 24-unit dementia care facility located at 1850 Pioneer Trail, Chanhassen, MN 55317. The building was opened in 2016 and is a single-story facility located on 5 acres of land.

Elysian Senior Homes, LLC provides on-site management, lifestyle enrichment activities, and maintenance.
On January 15, 2021, The Downtown Plaza of Red Wing was acquired. This is a 90-unit independent senior living building located in Red Wing, MN. This facility has one guest unit that can be rented by residents for visitors. There are two office spaces that are available for rent in the building that are roughly 1800 square feet of space. This building was opened in 1986 and has underground parking, storage units, a library, community dining room, fitness room, and recreation room.
