Our dementia care is a secure area of our community that is dedicate to the care of those with dementia and other forms of memory loss. Our dementia care area offers private studio apartments.

The Elysian of Northfield dementia care area was specifically designed to accommodate those who wander or become easily disoriented and provide residents with comfort, tranquility and a sense of familiarity. We offer choices for personal care as well as medical services that cater to the total well-being of your loved one.

Our caring, compassionate staff is trained to manage the challenges associated with dementia; and consistently help our residents to feel safe, provide a sense of belonging and purpose, all while adding meaning to their day.

Elysian Senior Homes of Northfield adapts dementia long-term care activities based upon each individual’s journey and current stage of dementia. These dementia elderly care activities include daily physical, mental, musical, social, spiritual and religious activities to meet the needs of the body, mind and spirit.

• Large Whirlpool tub and roll in shower room
• Assistance with getting dressed, grooming, and eating as assessed
• Bedtime preparation assistance
